In September 2025, we partnered with UNM Athletics to bring Mark and Kym Hilinski to the Pit for a Tyler Talk: the story of their son Tyler, a Washington State quarterback who died by suicide in 2018. Four hundred Lobo student-athletes were there, along with hundreds of Albuquerque-area high school athletes, coaches, teachers, and parents.
